Frequently asked questions
The things people ask most often. If yours is not here, the support page has a form that reaches a person.
No. Every template is a finished layout — you replace the words and pictures and it still looks right. The open canvas is there if you want it, not because you have to use it.
The editor is free with no feature locks and no trial period. You can design, save and export within the free allowance without ever paying. Charges start only if you need unlimited downloads or more than five published sites.
Not to design. You need to sign in to download a file, publish a site, write a review, or search other portfolios — those all use your account so the limits follow you rather than your browser.
In your browser as you type, and on our servers whenever you are signed in. Signing in matters: without it, clearing your browsing data deletes your work permanently.
It stays published. Dropping from Pro to Free limits new publishes and downloads, but nothing already live is taken down and nothing you made is deleted.
Pro accounts can point a custom domain at a published site. Free accounts publish to xodeinc.com/your-name, which works perfectly well for sharing.
Yes — PDF, PNG and standalone HTML. The PDF keeps text selectable, so applicant tracking systems can read it rather than seeing a flat image.
Yes. The editor has a phone layout with bottom sheets for the panels, and every page on the site is built for small screens. Serious layout work is easier on a larger screen, but nothing is off-limits.
It stays yours. We do not sell it, we do not train anything on it, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the account page. The privacy policy sets this out in full.
The support page has a form, or email xode.enterprises@gmail.com. Free accounts usually hear back within two working days; Pro within 24 hours.
